USPA Chairman Stewart Armstrong and Mark Bellissimo, managing companion of Wellington Equestrian Companions, inked a deal that provides the USPA one of many world's largest polo competitors fields, the USPA announced Wednesday.
With the sale comes a reputation change , the USPA Nationwide Polo Heart-Wellington.
Included within the sale is all 161 acres, its social membership and services, together with a swimming pool, health club and tennis courts.
The USPA stated in a press release that it hopes to make Wellington "function the everlasting heart of polo in America and set the usual for excellence in polo." It additionally plans to open the annual Wellington polo season in October, starting with the Federation of Worldwide Polo World Championship.
