What to avoid “Avoid generalizations, gratuitous insults, and personal gripes.” That’s how the paper says your letters should read.
Yet the “opinion” of James Bovard, in his slanderous column titled “Will punch-drunk Biden take America down with him?”, has all of it!
Our duly elected president is described as “punch drunk.” as a “pathological liar.” as “listless” and “hysterical.” This personal assault on our president by local and national media smacks of disrespect for our nation.
Do you believe these insults?
It would be interesting to see how well Bovard or other detractors could handle the office of the presidency of the United States of America.
Likely they would be crushed with the great pressure; it’s not the easiest job, they say!
Respect for President Joe Biden and our country is in order.
He’s doing a fine job, in my opinion, especially given the absolute mess he inherited from the previous “administration.” Sad that there are so many willing to eagerly embrace the endless falsehoods and scurrilous suggestions about our great nation.
Some have grown immensely wealthy pushing treasonous ideas; Rupert Murdoch bought a ranch for 0 million.
How’s your little budget holding up?
Lars Svendsgaard Ashland Rogue Retreat I write in response to the Saturday, June 11, edition of the Mail Tribune, which carried the front-page story, “Rogue Retreat denies links to conversion therapy.” I have served on the board of directors of Rogue Retreat continuously since 2015.
Not once in those seven years have I ever heard anyone speak of “conversion therapy.” Not its director, Chad McComas, nor any board member, nor any employee, nor any client.
Not ever.
Not once.
The accusation that Rogue Retreat is involved in conversion therapy or that it denies services to anyone based on sexual orientation is completely false.
