The committee is mulling what to do in regards to the emails, two folks aware of the paperwork informed CBS Information.

The Home Jan. 6 committee is predicted in Thursday's hearing to explore Eastman's function to stress Vice President Mike Pence to unilaterally reject electors and substitute them with alternate ones.
The idea floated by Eastman and others was that Republicans in seven states would submit alternate slates of electors on Jan. 6, 2021, when Congress met to certify the Electoral School votes.
Final week, a federal judge ordered Eastman to show over 159 paperwork to the Home choose committee that he had tried to withhold, claiming govt privilege.

Texts between Ginni Thomas and former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows confirmed that she had pushed him to overthrow the election outcomes.
