A 45-year-old Hudson man was struck by a vehicle and killed while riding a bicycle early Sunday in Pasco County, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
The accident occurred on Scenic Drive, north of Jasmine Boulevard, and a person driving the vehicle that hit the man fled, according to troopers, who were called to the scene at 8:30 a.m.
The victim was not identified.
The driver of the vehicle also was unidentified and authorities are seeking information regarding the accident.
