Four schools in the Pittsburgh Public School District were placed on lockdown Wednesday.
A school district spokesperson tells Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that Pittsburgh Crescent, Faison, Student Achievement Center and Westinghouse were locked down as police were in pursuit of a suspect following a report of shots fired in the area.
Police said a ShotSpotter alert was detected in the 1000 block of Brushton Ave.
Wednesday afternoon.
There were no reports of any victims or property damage.
Those lockdowns have been lifted.
