Drain the grains and keep the liquid.

Use it for making vegetable bouillon. 3.

Then heat 1 tablespoon of oil in one non-stick saucepan.

Put the leek in the pan and cook for 5 to 10 minutes until it softens.

Take out half of the leek in one bowl.

Add the bouillon and barley and cover the saucepan.

Simmer for twenty minutes. 4.

In the meantime, add the lemon juice, basil, garlic, three tablespoons of water, and the remaining oil to the bowl in which you have kept half of the leeks.

Use a stick blender and blend these items to make a paste. 5.

After cooking the barley for twenty minutes, add the broccoli.

Cook for five to ten more minutes until they become tender.

Add the leek puree and heat for 2 minutes.

Then serve in bowls.
