Stephen and Jessica Rose, founders of The Peach Truck, have an excuse to be peachier than the produce they sell.

The Peach Truck has stepped into an investment partnership with International Farming for direct-to-consumer expansion, the couple-owned business announced in a news release.

They declined to disclose the terms or value of the investment.

Founded in 2012, The Peach Truck enters its 10th year of operation and enters this year’s season with 100 million peaches sold across all its mediums, from the truck itself to online home-delivery orders. “We commend Stephen and Jessica for their incredible success in the first 10 years of their business,” said CEO of International Farming Charlie McNairy in the release. “We are excited to work alongside them in bringing fresh fruit and pantry items to an even greater marketplace.” Since its founding, The Peach Truck has expanded outside of Nashville reaching 25 regional states for its annual summer peach tour and moved to sell other items to keep business rolling throughout the year such as winter oranges, jams and even a cookbook.

Over the last three years, the company has doubled its full-time employees and tripled its seasonal employees and holds a compound annual growth rate of 39.25% “Ten years ago, we began selling peaches out of the back of our 1964 Jeep Gladiator pickup truck.

Little did we know the immense joy we would find in sharing over 100 million peaches across the country with incredible customers,” said the Roses in the release. “As we look ahead to our company’s future, we are confident the extensive agricultural experience of International Farming will help us achieve our mission of changing the way people eat by making high-quality produce accessible to everyone all over the country,” The Peach Truck begins its summer tour starting Tuesday and has already started its Nashville pop-up booths.
