Auckland Council will launch a new contestable funding round for the Sport and Recreation Facilities Investment Fund (SRFIF) on 14 November 2022.
Through the SRFIF, .4 million will be available for planning and development of sport and recreation facilities which will help to: Eligibility criteria and funding priorities are explained in the Sport and Recreation Facilities Investment Fund Guidelines.
The funding round will be open for Stage 1 applications between 14 November 2022 and 31 January 2023, with Stage 2 applications to be invited on 10 March 2023.
Funding decisions will be made by the relevant Governing Body committee , for example, the Parks, Arts, Community and Events Committee or its successor , in September 2023.
