Oct 23, 2022 DEAR EDITOR: Make wise choices when voting for state representatives.
No matter what political party you belong to, you can’t deny the supermajority in the state legislature has brought us continued corruption.
Under the supermajority Republican Ohio Legislature, we’ve had one corruption scandal after another.
The corruption has hurt us all.
The corruption spans from Coingate, to Electric Classrooms of Tomorrow, unfair redistricting and the House Bill 6 bribery which was the biggest corruption scandal in the country.
Now Nick Santucci is asking voters to believe the state legislature can control global inflation.
Santucci either doesn’t know what the job of a state legislator is, or he’s underestimating the intelligence of voters by telling them he will lower grocery prices, and have control over national and global companies, supply chains and the global markets.
He needs a civics class.
Mailers attacking Vince Peterson, from Santucci and the Ohio GOP, have included false divisive inflammatory language and false claims that he can fix inflation from Columbus.
Make no mistake, a supermajority party in the state legislature brings nothing but corruption and expands the ability to be bribed.
Expanding the supermajority will bring more corruption.
Ohio deserves better.
